Trees, rings and dinosaur eggs!

Yuecheng Mall, Beijing

This 30,000m 2 retail centre is an inspiring place to meet-and-greet, particularly for the area’s bustling international school community. Located on Beijing’s 3 rd Inner Ring Road, Yuecheng Mall connects 2 existing office towers through a multi-level retail centre to the main line subway station below.

Our designers took an imaginary journey through a gingko tree: the brand icon of the Yuecheng Group. The design celebrates growth, nature and creativity. Forest textures and colours are expressed in wood-grained surfaces, patterned ceilings, walls and columns. Special features include “dinosaur egg” wash rooms, crazy play pods, tree columns, green walls and sparkling green bridges.
