Celebrating 25 Years of Success

In our 25th Year, Concept i reflects on our mission to ideate, innovate and have a positive impact on people’s lives and the world we live in. We celebrate our beginnings, our people, our talent and our passion for design.  As always, we look ahead, exploring people’s needs, changing trends, unturned earths and suns yet to rise in our quest to realize fresh concepts internationally. That’s us – Concept i.

We were excited to connect with our global partners to discuss the ‘New Normal’.

Our alliance partner, i2C hosted a talk to explore the ever changing environment and identify collaborative opportunities and creative ways of working through this pandemic and into the future.

High Five

Under the working title “HIGH FIVE” concept i have conceived a remarkable destination entertainment attraction, comprising the newest global trends in ride technology, active play and virtual gaming experiences.

Five iconic building Pods are conceived as a powerful visual landmark, playing with the cellular forms of a beehive, in an iconic and contemporary way. The 5 buildings create a series of completely flexible, large span interior spaces. The architecture optimizes natural air ventilation, minimizes solar gain, and embraces “green roof” design to ensure comfortable, cost-efficient operations. The entire roofscape is designed as “The Path”, a garden of health comprising fun exercise trails, skate parks, jogging and cycle routes and passive green rest areas.

Where Dreams Come True

Explorations and journeys through imaginary oceans and islands. From sea flower theatres to snow lotus mountains our designers capture the spirit of seascapes in the most abstract and contemporary way. With a true “Experiential Design” ethos, we are passionate to fuse stories, architecture, art, sensory experiences, water light and nature into new compositions of public space.

The Art of the Master Plan

The Master Plan, even at its earliest infancy, not only captures the spirit and dreams of the designer but also balances space, circulation, function, market positioning, operational and financial feasibility all on one simple piece of paper.

We still believe these drawings must be created by hand – the most direct way to bring abstract ideas to paper and on to reality. The art of the Master Plan and its creator is an amazing force sculpting the world around us.

Playmondo

Congratulations to Playmondo Group for their grand opening of ‘Playmondo’. While working closely with Playmondo Group we employed the play and learn concept. The centre houses 4 nature-themed zones: Forest, Volcano, Desert and Ocean. Children can explore each zones whilst playing, jumping or sliding into a huge ball pit, bouncing on trampolines, climbing large structures and walls.
